To the Editor:
We want to extend our gratitude to the Mitchell School District for their handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.
First, we are grateful to the school board for the care and concern shown for the students and staff to keep them safe. Those were tough decisions and you have our deep respect.
Teaching is a huge undertaking without Covid. We appreciate everything the administrators, teachers and staff are doing to ensure a quality education for our children.
Finally, hats off to the students for demonstrating responsible actions with wearing their masks. They are teaching us how important it is to care for others and ourselves.
