To the Editor:
Art Jarding was a class act whose heart was as big as all of South Dakota. His love for his family, his faith, his farm and his cattle were always at the top of his priority list.
His demeanor of always respecting others and treating others as you wish to be treated was awesome. We had many enjoyable conversations over the years when he sold his cattle at the Mitchell sale barn, at various meetings and on the phone.
Art was a good friend and a great role model for all of us to emulate and follow. He was a man that respected others and tried to make his corner of the world a better place in so many ways.
