Letter: Flowery Main Street reflects well on city

Many individual businesses place planters out front as well. It is this effort that encourages people to walk and enjoy Main, shop, and dine.

To the Editor:

The flower baskets that adorn the light poles along Main Street are absolutely beautiful again this summer.

Tourists and locals who visit the Corn Palace and all areas of Mitchell notice and praise.

Many individual businesses place planters out front as well. It is this effort that encourages people to walk and enjoy Main, shop, and dine.

Main Street and Beyond, the city which facilitates the watering, the gal who so faithfully does the consistent watering, plus individual businesses deserve to be commended for their time, creativity, and concern for our fine city.
