To the Editor:
Watching the news tonight, I saw our governor sign a bill that would prevent outside funds coming into South Dakota to impact our elections.
That’s a great idea! But, I am confused by her double standard!
Didn’t our governor accept outside Republican donor money to send some South Dakota National Guardsmen to the southern border to control the illegal immigration from Central America?
She loves transparency (?), you just never know when it will appear!

Our National Guardsmen are not her private army. They are National. Just as Mt. Rushmore is a NATIONAL monument.
And a 750 person fireworks display. Capitol Lake would be fine, and it’s centrally located in OUR capitol!
