To the Editor:

Two of the Washington Post’s reasons for opposing the death penalty were that someone innocent might be executed (which they called a "horror") and that those who are sentenced to death are often poorly equipped to defend themselves. And yet they and many on the left support abortion.

Who are more innocent than the unborn? Who are less capable of defending themselves than the unborn? Cognitive and moral dissonance much? As long as the Post and others like them support the wanton slaughter of our unborn children, they forfeit any moral high ground, real or imagined, from which to opine on anything.

They should stick to bashing the (Republican) president(s only). At least they’re consistent there.
