To the Editor:
Dr. Tom Dean's letter in support of Planned Parenthood, published March ⅘, caused me to write this.
Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortions. Every Planned Parenthood facility does abortions.
Planned Parenthood's report? - usually the "non-profit," which gets taxpayer dollars, released one before February but none yet this year.
Planned Parenthood opposes regulation of abortion and opposes conscience rights for people who do not support abortions or contraception - "pro-choice?" not really.

Contraception? Science? - The Pill not only inhibits ovulation but also has secondary mechanisms which prevent clinically recognized pregnancy. These secondary mechanisms can occur either before or after fertilization. Side effects of the Pill? Many - and it also pollutes our water sources harming fish and other wildlife.
If Dr. Dean really likes fewer abortions, why does he not promote natural family planning which is safe for everyone? NaProTechnology is scientific, has been studied extensively, is proven effective not only to avoid pregnancy but also to help achieve pregnancy and it does not treat fertility like a disease.
