To the Editor:
What would the world be like without a risen savior? Without the Ten Commandments to guide our lives? Yet today, the ACLU seeks to ban the Ten Commandments. Al Rogness writes, "There is recognition that man's law must be measured against a law higher than man's."
I quote Al Rogness again. I cannot forget the words of Norman Cousins of Saturday Review. "Men caught up in games of international realpolitik, tend to delude themselves with the thought that hard matters of military policy are the only ones that count. History, however, is littered with the relics of civilizations whose leaders felt uncomfortable or scornful in the presence of moral questions."
We all should know that abortion and gay marriages were imposed upon this nation by the courts. Hence, the contentious battle over the Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. What a show of hysteria. Unsubstantial claims against Kavanaugh are still reported by fake news as being true. Since their failure to keep Kavanaugh from the court, their retroaction has been mobbing and violence. This worked for the Bolsheviks in Russia in 1917 propelling Russia under Communist rule for 70 years, banning the worship of God.
From 1960 to 2016, health spending rose from $147 per person to $10,348 per person (via the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Service). II Corinthians 3:17: "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
