To the Editor:
On my right shoulder there is a tattoo of a bright red letter A surrounded by a black ring of Celtic weaving. Inside the crossbars is a green marijuana leaf. At the top of this anarchy symbol is a banner with the words "look within." These two words are my bible, my whole religion. At the bottom is another banner with the Latin words, "Novus Ordo Liberi Hominus:" New Order of the Free Man.
Anarchism is radicalized form of Libertarianism. You own yourself. It is wrong for another to force their will upon you. It is also wrong to force one's will upon another.
Retarded means to hold back or prevent, as in flame retardant. Following authority (rood word: author; creator), rather than using one's own rational judgement is retarded.
True religion has no sect. True spirituality has no authority. There is only one's own will, equipped with critical thinking and logic. You are an authority unto yourself. Trust your own compass. Look within.
Just as Anarchism is a radicalized form of Libertarianism, Satanism is a radicalized form of Atheism. The seven tenets of Satanism (Google it) best compliments my tattoo:
"One should strive to act with compassion and empathy towards all creatures in accordance with reason."
"The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions."
"One's body is inviolable, subject to one's own will alone."
"The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo your own."
"Beliefs should conform to our best scientific understanding of the world. We should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit our beliefs."
"People are fallible. If we make a mistake, we should do our best to rectify it and resolve any harm that may have been caused."
"Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought,. The spirit of compassion, wisdom and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word."
