Letter: Our lawmakers are getting way too politicized
They are more interested in furthering their political ambitions and what will benefit them and their future.
To the Editor:
Reading an article by Gov. Kristi Noem to Attorney General Garland saying “she was glad a special council was appointed to probe the apparent mishandling of confidential information by President Joe Biden.”
Biden willingly turned over everything found on his properties. She has never once said anything when ex-president Trump had a lot of classified and confidential information found on his properties. Trump fought to prevent turning over the things found in his possession. Also Noem has made no mention of the classified and confidential papers recently found at ex-vice president Mike Pence’s property.
Gov. Noem’s personal information (and many others) was recently compromised. She blames the Jan. 6 Committee for leaking the information. Here’s a little insight for her.
“Every 3 seconds someone’s information is stolen in the U.S.” Gov. Noem and most of her Republican constituents were against the forming of the Jan. 6 Committee. I wonder what they’re afraid of? We cannot accept or condone such insurrection in our country.
Our lawmakers are getting way too politicized and not doing what is best for the country. They are more interested in furthering their political ambitions and what will benefit them and their future. Maybe by implementing term limits, we can get back to taking care of the people of this country and not special interest groups.
