LETTER: Klinger won't be 'business as usual'
To the Editor:
Ione Klinger, a retired Mitchell teacher, has dedicated many years to the youth of this community. Now, she is giving of herself again by running for District 20 State Representative. As a teacher, she has seen the results of the lack of funding for education during the past three decades. She has always let her voice be heard by attending the cracker barrels during the legislative sessions and by calling her legislators regarding bills that would hinder the children of South Dakota. She wants to continue to dedicate her time to improving education in South Dakota by being your representative.
Ione has lived in South Dakota all her life and knows the concerns families and businesses face. As your representative, she would be committed to researching issues, listening to concerns, and developing solutions to issues with peers on both sides of the aisle.
Ione is so excited about this race. She wants the voters to know that it won't be "business as usual" if she is elected. She will be an active participant in the process and work to find solutions to issues that are important to South Dakotans. The only way that can happen is for you to register to vote and then for you to march down to the voting booth and have your voice heard by voting for Ione Klinger.
