Tina M. Bosworth

Funeral services for Tina M. Bosworth, 55, of Chamberlain will be 10:30 am Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Hickey Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park in Mitchell at 2:30 pm. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with family present at the Hickey Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.

Tina Marie was born December 8, 1963 in Mitchell, SD to Donald A. and Carol J. (Pulse) Bosworth. She attended Headstart and Longfellow Elementary in Mitchell. While traveling with her parents, Tina was homeschooled from 1976 until around 1978 when they relocated to Rapid City. In 1983, Tina’s parents moved to Chamberlain. Tina remained in Rapid City and was at the Black Hills Workshop. Around 1985, Tina moved to Chamberlain to be near her parents. While living in Chamberlain Tina was taught to drive by her father. Tina reached out to Dakota Milestones for assistance in 2000. One of Tina’s first jobs was at Mr. B’s Marina and she was also employed at several hotels and restaurants in Chamberlain. Her most recent employment was at the Anchor Grille.

Tina loved to fish and also shop. She was a very hard worker. One of her greatest enjoyments were her animals. After the passing of her father, Tina started to travel with her sister which she realized she loved to do. She was known to have an occasional red beer with olives. Throughout the years, Tina learned embroidery, crafts and painting. She enjoyed making many crafts over the years.

Tina was active in the community with Dakota Milestones and the AKTION club.

Tina passed away on October 2, 2019 at her home in Chamberlain, SD at the age of 55 years. Gratefully sharing her life are her sister Deb Phillips and Dave of Whitewood, SD; brothers Cal Bosworth of Alaska and Alan Bosworth and Angela of Ridge Farm, IL; six nieces and nephews Destiny, Damion, Trinity, and Angel Bosworth, Jesse and Erin Phillips; and numerous great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a nephew Chris Phillips, and her maternal and parental grandparents.
