Oren E. “Butch” Long, Jr., born Sept. 11, 1945, passed away peacefully in his home in Omaha on Apr. 8, 2023. Survived by his wife Carol (Kummer) of Omaha, daughter Dr. Roberta “Robbi” (Shawn) Knudsen, son Oren Erran, III of Omaha, and grandchildren Wyatt, Shea, and Bodi.

Visitation Sunday, April 16 1-3 PM with a Wake service at 3 PM, Reichmuth Funeral Home, 21901 W. Maple Rd. Funeral Mass Monday, April 17, 10:30 AM at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 14330 Eagle Run Dr., Omaha. Private inurnment with military honors at Omaha National Cemetery. Memorials to the family.
