James “Jim” Linn, age 79, of Wessington Springs, SD died Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Weskota Manor in Wessington Springs, SD. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Wessington Springs with burial at Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell.

Survivors include his children, Kim (Ryan) Thompson, Fargo, ND, James (Terra) Linn, Lane, SD, Tim (Anna) Linn, Audubon, MN, Shannon (Rita) Linn, Letcher, SD; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; his mother, Arlene Acker, Tea, SD; his siblings, Jean (Steve) Selchert, Sioux Falls, SD, Larry (Marlys) Linn, Billings, MT, Joyce (Paul) Schultz, Tea, SD, Paula (Robert) Migliore, Friendswood, TX; a sister-in-law, Mary Linn, Emery, SD; a special friend, Jan Endres, Watertown, SD and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Ronnie Linn; and a nephew Jeff Selchert.
