Loris Jean Doorn, 89, of Mitchell, SD passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Avera McKenna Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, November 6, 2020 at the First Reformed Church in Mitchell. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Will Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in American Legion Cemetery. Blessed to have shared her love and life are her children; Pat (Leon) Reiner, Tripp, SD, Robyn (Blaine) Duxbury, Vermillion, SD, David (Lisa) Doorn, Pinedale, WY, Brad (Kristen) Doorn, York, PA, and Bryan (Jenna) Doorn, Mitchell, SD, daughter-in-law, Barb Doorn, Vermillion, SD, brothers; Leroy (Jody) Ketel and Kenneth (Diane) Ketel both from Rapid City, SD, brothers-in-law; Gary (Lonni) Doorn, Meridian, ID and Edd (Dawn) Doorn, Bend, OR, 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Loris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and his parents, Ed and Minnie (Beukelman) Doorn, an infant sister, Marilyn, her sister, Karen (Carroll) Nelson and her son, Doug Doorn.
