Kirsten Jae Harless

After a long hard battle with cancer Kirsten Jae Harless entered into the Heavenly Kingdom on August 29, 2020 at the very young age of 35. Her funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday, September 4, 2020 at the Plankinton UMC Church with burial at St. John’s Cemetery in Plankinton, SD. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday September 3, 2020 at the Plankinton UMC Church, Plankinton, SD. Arrangements are under the direction of the Will Funeral Chapel.

Kirsten Jae Harless was born on July 17 1985 in Wessington Springs, SD.

Kirsten lived in Plankinton all of her life, graduating from Plankinton High School. Kirsten lived life to its fullest spending time with her fiance Rubin Earl and their two young children Gable and Ryne. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching Rubin play baseball and of course shopping. Her battle with cancer started in 2012 when she was diagnosed with a very rare cancer called adenoid cystic carcinoma. She never gave up, she was an inspiration to us all.

Kirsten had many jobs, her most recent was at Mitchell Roofing.

Grateful for having shared her life are her fiance, Rubin Earl, two sons Gable and Ryne; her parents Ann Harless and John Saville; grandmother Elvina Johnson; 2 sisters Kellie (Heath) Gillen and Kammi Harless. 3 nieces, Lux, Haven, and Sloan; many aunts and uncles, and cousins.

Kirsten is preceded in death by Grandparents Carney, Jean and Maggie Nelson and baby niece Harper Jean Marie Gillen.
