Jeremy Gaspar, 40, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2020, surrounded by immediate family at his home in LifeScape’s Beacon House in eastern Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchell. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Jeremy Wade Gaspar was born June 5, 1980 in Mitchell, SD.

He attended programs at the South Dakota School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Aberdeen, SD; LifeQuest in Mitchell, SD; and LifeScape Program at the Beacon House in Sioux Falls, SD. Jeremy’s favorite activities included going on car rides with family and LifeScape staff, listening to music, and shopping. He loved picking out new movies and video games whenever possible. At home, he most enjoyed watching movies and playing Super Mario Brothers Nintendo video games.

He is survived by his parents, Cindy and Eugene (Gene) of Mitchell, SD; brother Eric (Erica) (Sioux Falls, SD); sister Maria (Tyrone) Wilson, nephews Malaki, Maleik, and Malcolm, and niece Marriana (Sioux Falls, SD); aunts, Karen Cahoy (Flagstaff, AZ) and Patricia (Steve) Albers (Harrisburg, SD); uncles Chuck Cahoy (Bill Konigsberg) (Phoenix, AZ), as well as numerous cousins.

Jeremy is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Maurine Cahoy and Bernard and Verna Gaspar.
