He went on to earn his bachelors degree from Dakota Wesleyan University in South Dakota and later earned a Master’s degree from Northern Iowa. He worked for many years in Human Resources at a variety of companies as well as working as an independent consultant. Jim had a passion for life and was always the life of the party. He had a brilliant mind and could hold his own in any game of trivia. He also enjoyed music. He was in the band “The Trailblazers” in his early years and continued to entertain family and friends during Karaoke nights or just sitting at home and have a good old fashioned sing along. Jim also enjoyed trips to Laughlin Nevada where he often met up with his daughters form Minnesota for a long weekend. In 2005 Jim moved to Texas where he and his mother could retire and enjoy the beautiful weather. It was there where he met and was cared for by his loving Texas family Cristhian, Donald, Julia, Robert, LuLu, Kendra and Kendrick. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Kathleen Moro. He is survived by his daughters Melissa Moro-Koss (Joe Koss), Christina Farrell (Ryan), Amanda Moro, and Jamey Moro and 5 grandchildren Kali Moro, Maddy Koss, Aiden Farrell, Sophie Farrell, and Isaac Sanders. He will be missed by so many. We had fun Dad! We are bringing Dad to his final resting place to join his mother and father on what would have been his 72nd birthday. Friends and family are invited to attend the burying of the ashes at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell South Dakota on Tuesday July 2, 2019 at noon.
