SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Doris Mae (Verba) Dertien, 81, Sioux Falls, S.D., died Sunday, Oct. 4, in Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., with a rosary at 6:45 p.m. and a wake service at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Mount Funeral Home in Platte, S.D. A funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Platte. A committal service will be in Platte City Cemetery.
