Curtis Parce

Curtis R. Parce, 59, of Coal Valley, Illinois, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020, at home.

Services to celebrate Curtis’ life will be held at a later date with burial at Graceland Cemetery, Mitchell, South Dakota.

Curtis Roy Parce was born September 21, 1960, in Mitchell, the son of David and Gladys (Hamm) Parce. He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years and was an artist. He loved taking road trips, exploring and getting lost for the adventure.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Bruce of Los Angeles, California; his granddaughter, Sophia Bruce-Tindall; his partner of 15 years, Donna Sersig of Coal Valley; siblings, Marilyn Graves of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, Karol (Dale) Porter of Mitchell, South Dakota, Rollie (Pat) Clark of Austin, Minnesota, Randy (Lynn) Clark of Yankton, South Dakota, and Glenda (John) Hennings of Austin; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
