Funeral services will be at 10:30 Am Friday, September 3, 2021 at Will Funeral Chapel; burial to follow in Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell, SD.

Renee was born on February 1, 1944, in Mitchell, SD to Glenn and Kathleen (Knutson) Lucid. She grew up on their family farm in Letcher, attended Jacobus Country School until 1952 when it closed, then transferred to Letcher School graduating in 1962. Then, Renee embarked on her career in banking.

On September 17, 1966, Renee was united in matrimony to Garry Schuster of Mitchell, SD. They relocated to Sioux Falls shortly thereafter to begin their lifetime journey together, and their first son was born. Then they moved the family to Rapid, had their second son, and decided to relocate to Yankton to raise the boys. Once the boys finished high school, the family moved back to Sioux Falls where Renee continued her career at Cortrust Bank until she retired in 2010 after 19 years of service. Renee loved to share fond memories of Jack, her co-workers, and career experiences.

After retirement, Garry and Renee enjoyed weekend getaways with family at their cabin in Alma, WI and in St. Louis, MO. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Renee. She liked spending time with friends and family, relaxing outdoors, watching her TV soaps, and listening to country music. Renee was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind beautiful memories. She will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts.

Renee is survived by her husband Garry, son Troy (Kris) Schuster with grandchildren Carole and Benjamin of St. Louis, MO, son Cory (Kara) Schuster with grandson Caden of Tea, SD and grandson Easton Schuster of Denver, CO, brother Denny (Kay) Lucid of Sioux Falls, SD plus many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
