Alexander Anthony Kummer, beloved son of Robert and Stefanie (James) Kummer was born April 2, 2005 in Sioux Falls, SD. He was a faithful brother to Kayden and Madelyn. Although only 16 years old, Alex affected many people in his lifetime. Alex had a kind and loving soul with patience and understanding that anyone could see that met him for the first time or knew him in his short time with us.

The Kummers have a love for the outdoors and adventure that was a family shared bond, but something Alex had made a hobby of for himself. Alex had a passion for playing video games at an early age, and continued to share with his friends that will be his lifetime forever best friends. Alex had found love for the sport of baseball in his high school years. He lived the team bonding and play of the sport. His speed was unsurpassable.

At an early age, Alex’s teachers saw he was intelligent beyond his years. Alex attended Xcel Achievement Center Preschool, Harrisburg Journey & Endeavor Elementary, Harrisburg North Middle and Harrisburg High School. He was in advanced classes and had admirable goals to further his education in the study of Anesthesiology.

Alex was baptized as a child of God in August of 2005, and confirmed to follow Jesus on October 25, 2020 at Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church. He was an active member of the youth group.

Alex is survived by his parents Robert and Stefanie; his brother, Kayden; and his sister, Madelyn, and their loyal and loving pets, Bella and Kimber of all of Sioux Falls, SD; his maternal grandparents, Lee and Linda James; and paternal grandparents, Duane and Diana Kummer, all of Mitchell, SD; several aunts, uncles, and cousins from near and far, but all shared the same love for our forever young Alex, who was a special nephew and cousin.
