MCCOOK COUNTY -- One person was killed in a Friday night crash in eastern McCook County.
At approximately 11:13 p.m., a 2006 Pontiac Montana driven by a 43-year-old woman was traveling east on Interstate 90, five miles west of Humboldt, when it left the roadway, entered the median and rolled, according to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
The driver, whose name was not released by authorities pending notification of family, was wearing a seat belt but was pronounced dead at the scene.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Other responding agencies were the McCook County Sheriff’s Office and Salem Ambulance.
