TUTHILL - An 83-year-old woman was killed Tuesday in a one-vehicle rollover in Bennett County.
The crash occurred at 5:21 p.m. on Tuesday, located 3 miles north of Tuthill, or about 15 miles east of Martin. The woman, who was the only person involved, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu north on 237th Avenue and was traveling around a curve when the vehicle left the roadway, entered the east ditch, tipped and rolled.
The woman, who has not been identified, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. The South Dakota Department of Public Safety said it is investigating the crash.
