WINNER -- A 38-year-old Winner man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for aggravated sexual abuse of a child and abusive sexual contact with a child.
Joseph Edward Cordier, who faces up to life in prison, entered a not guilty plea earlier this month.
According to U.S. Attorney Randy Seiler, Cordier is charged with engaging in sexual acts and contact with a child under 12 between June of 2007 and June of 2009.
The investigation is being conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
A trial date has not been set.
