HOT SPRINGS (AP) -- Wind Cave National Park in southwest South Dakota has lifted fire restrictions that were put in place about two months ago because of dry conditions.
Park Superintendent Vidal Davila says the decision was made because of recent rains, cooler weather and the start of spring green-up.
The restrictions had prohibited open fires and banned smoking in most areas.
