Wilma Fry, 83, Wichita Falls, Texas, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Wichita Falls, with Msgr. Charles King and Deacon Patrick Burke officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Wichita Falls.

Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home, Wichita Falls.

She was born on Nov. 22, 1925, in Jermyn, Texas, to John and Jessie Earl (Newman) Wilton.

In 1947 she married Jack Fry in Jermyn.

She taught school for many years in the Catholic school system in Wichita Falls and in Windthorst, Texas.

She was a member of the Retired Teachers' Association.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she served as the director of religious education.

She is survived by a son, Mike and wife Sherry, Wichita Falls; three daughters: Marsha Redder and husband Vince, Mitchell; Mary Ferguson and husband Ben, Iowa Park, Texas; and Molly Skaggs and husband Dave, Arlington, Texas; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Melba Lebow, Amarillo, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband on July 1, 1976; and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at Presbyterian Manor, 4600 Taft Boulevard, Wichita Falls, Texas, 76308.
