Last week, the South Central Alcohol Task Force conducted eight alcohol compliance checks in Davison County, which resulted in one failure.
The following businesses were checked and passed: Ethan: Chubby's Bar, Agland Coop, Mike's Corner and American Legion No. 261; Mount Vernon: Wermer's Lounge; Mitchell: Kongo Klub and Wild Oak Golf Club.
There was one failure and this occurred at Westy's One-Stop in Mount Vernon. In this instance the clerk asked for the C.I.'s identification, but still made the sale of alcohol anyway. This is Westy's One-Stop's first failure within a 24-month period.
