DELMONT - A 28-year-old Wagner man has been identified as the person who died Friday night in a one-vehicle crash that occurred south of Delmont.

Quaid Montgomery was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer westbound on U.S. Highway 18 when he lost control of the vehicle, which eventually rolled several times. Montgomery, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the vehicle. He later died of his injuries while being treated at Douglas County Memorial Hospital in Armour.   

The crash occurred 2 miles south of Delmont at 7:22 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
