Vehicle ramps stolen in Mitchell

Sometime from Monday, April 16, to Wednesday, April 18, a person or persons stole one set of heavy duty aluminum vehicle ramps from a trailer parked in the 600 block of South Burr Street, Mitchell.

Sometime from Monday, April 16, to Wednesday, April 18, a person or persons stole one set of heavy duty aluminum vehicle ramps from a trailer parked in the 600 block of South Burr Street, Mitchell.

On approximately April 30, two other sets of heavy duty aluminum vehicle ramps were stolen from two trailers that were parked in two locations in Mitchell. One of the trailers was parked in a parking lot located in the 1700 block of South Burr Street. The other trailer was parked in the 1900 block of South Rowley in Mitchell.

Prior to the thefts, all of these ramps were secured in specific areas of the trailers that were designed for ramp storage. Two of the ramps are Feather Lite brand ramps that are 6 feet long by 18 inches wide and are made of tubular metal. Two of the ramps are 10 feet long, two-piece, flip-up style ramps. Two of the ramps are 9 feet long. All of the ramps are heavy duty and are made of aluminum. These ramps weigh approximately 100 pounds apiece. The stolen trailer ramps are valued at approximately $4,800.
