The city of Mitchell announced that a portion of Davison Street will be closed beginning Monday morning.
Underground utility work will begin 7 a.m. Monday, July 12 at the intersection of 7th Avenue and Davison Street for a planned utility project. Davison Street will be closed from 7th Avenue to 6th Avenue. The intersection of 7th Avenue and Davison Street will have intermittent closures as necessary.
Drivers should expect the closure to last for approximately six weeks. Drivers are encouraged to seek an alternative route during the project.
