Mitchell police located a 17-year-old girl who was missing Thursday night through Friday afternoon.

According to the Mitchell Police Division, Lorry Dykes, of Spencer, returned home shortly before 6 p.m. Friday.

Mitchell Police Sgt. Joel Reinesch said Dykes went missing from the Mitchell area between 8 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 a.m. Friday.

According to Reinesch, Dykes has friends in Mitchell, but she was believed to have been with a different group of people than usual Thursday night.
