GREGORY — One person was injured in a Sunday evening crash near Gregory.
According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, a 2006 Ford Escape was westbound approximately three miles northwest of Gregory near the corner of 287th Street and 335th Avenue when the driver lost control, went into the north ditch and rolled multiple times. Neither the driver nor the passenger were ejected.
The crash occurred at approximately 8:20 p.m.
The driver, 18-year-old Skyla Lane, of Dallas, sustained serious non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. She was wearing a seat belt and was transported to the hospital in Gregory.
The passenger, a 31-year-old male, received minor injuries and was not transported, according to the release. He was not wearing a seat belt.
