Country singer Suzi Weber is returning to her roots.
Weber, of Branson, Mo., grew up in the Alexandria area and will return to Mitchell for three concerts after Christmas.
She'll perform at 2 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, at the Pepsi-Cola Theatre for Performing Arts, Mitchell. Tickets are on sale now and are $20 for adults in advance, $22 at door; and $10 for children in advance and $12 at the door.
She performed for two sold-out audiences last year and decided to put on a third show this year to accommodate those who couldn't get tickets before.
Performing has been a big part of her life since she was 7 and playing in a family band. Her love for the business hasn't decreased.

"I love it," she said. "The best part is making people happy with what you do ... seeing people smile and seeing them sing along with your songs. You always get a rush when there's a full house, too. The more people the better."
Her parents, Delbert and Georgeanne Weber, live in Fulton, and much of her family still reside in the Fulton and Alexandria area. This road show is the only one she has planned, as she's looking to find more full-time singing jobs while she finishes her album.
