SIOUX FALLS (AP) - Sioux Falls police have a suspect in custody in a death they have ruled a homicide.
Officers who responded to a report of a fight at the Arena Motel about 10:30 p.m. Monday found a male lying unresponsive in the parking lot. The person was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Police say officers located the male suspect inside a room in the motel and arrested him on homicide and assault charges. The suspect allegedly assaulted an acquaintance of the victim who had tried to stop the fight.
