PIERRE - Spring load limit restrictions have been listed. The restrictions will apply to the road segment and at the indicated weight limit shown.
The effective date of the load restrictions is determined by weather and road conditions.
A spring load restriction report is usually issued in advance of any major load restriction changes. The report is only for guidance and does not take precedence over load restriction signs in place.
The Mitchell region highways affected as of 8 a.m. today, Feb. 16, are:
• SD 24, from Jct. SD 39 to Jct. SD 34; 21.1 miles; six tons per axle;

• SD 42, from US 281 east to Davison County Line, 5.9 miles; six tons per axle;
• SD 45, from Platte north to I-90; 24.5 miles, 8 tons per axle;
• SD 1804, from SD 44 south eight miles, eight miles; 6 tons per axle;
• SD 1806, from US 18 north to Missouri River, 10 miles, six tons per axle;
• SD 1806, from SD 44 south six miles; 5.9 miles, six tons per axle;
• SD 251, Nebraska state line to US 18; 15.8 miles, six tons per axle.
