Man dies in rollover crash near Sisseton

The accident near South Dakota-Minnesota border happened late Wednesday night.

SISSETON, S.D. — A 42-year-old man has died in a one-vehicle rollover crash in Roberts County in far northeast South Dakota late Wednesday night, Jan. 19.

The man's name wasn't released pending notification of family members.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol said the man was driving a 2008 Buick Lucerne on 127th Street, about 15 miles southeast of Sisseton, when the vehicle left the roadway on a curve, went into the ditch and rolled.

The man was thrown from the vehicle, said the patrol, and died at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation
