BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A South Dakota man is accused of sexually abusing two girls while he was living at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota.

KMOT-TV reports that 39-year-old Thad Richard, of Manderson, South Dakota, allegedly abused the girls between 2007 and 2009 at a residence on base. He is accused of having sex with one of the children and fondling the other.

Authorities say the girls are from South Dakota.

Court documents do not list an attorney for Richard, and a home telephone listing for him could not be found. He could enter pleas to three counts of felony gross sexual imposition at an April 21 court hearing. He could face life in prison without parole if convicted.
