YANKTON (AP) -- It's been an up-and-down spring when it comes to temperatures in the southeast South Dakota city of Yankton.
The National Weather Service says the city on Tuesday tied its record-low temperature for the date, at 45 degrees. That was 11 degrees below normal and tied the record low set in 1958.
More than two months ago, on April 1, Yankton had a record-high temperature of 91 degrees.
