VIBORG — A Sioux Falls man has been identified as the person who died April 19 in a motorcycle crash north of Viborg.
Shane St. Clair, 55, died when his motorcycle left the roadway on State Highway 19 at 4:54 p.m. on Saturday, April 19. The crash occurred 3 miles north of Viborg, the South Dakota Department of Public Safety said.
St. Clair was driving a 2015 Victory Magnum motorcycle southbound when he lost control. The motorcycle eventually skidded and the driver was thrown from the motorcycle. St. Clair was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
