Selby girl, 15, ID'd following Sunday fatal ATV crash

SELBY – A 15-year-old girl who died Sunday, April 26 in an ATV crash southeast of Selby has been identified.

Tori Fiedler was killed in the crash, which occurred around 3 p.m. Sunday on a gravel road about 3 miles southeast of Selby.

According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, the girl was driving north on 308th Avenue when the 2017 Polaris Ranger XP 900 ATV, when the vehicle lost control, rolled and the girl was thrown from the vehicle.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, and was not wearing a helmet. Fiedler was the only person involved.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol says it is investigating the crash.
