SDSU judging teams rank at National Western Stock Show.

Kaley Nolz, Mitchell, placed third in individual hand spinning and tied for third in placing, and 11th overall in the National Western Stock Show Wool Judging contest, held recently in Denver, Colo.

Kaley Nolz, Mitchell, placed third in individual hand spinning and tied for third in placing, and 11th overall in the National Western Stock Show Wool Judging contest, held recently in Denver, Colo.

Nolz was part of the South Dakota State University Wool judging team which placed ninth overall. The team included Nola, Josh Brown, Peterson, Minn.; Jamie Beckstrand, Waldorf, Minn.; and Callie Kukuchka, Belle Fourche.

Other SDSU judging teams placed as well: Livestock team placed third in the "Carload Contest; and seventh overall. The Meats Team placed ninth overall and fifth in placings.
