RAPID CITY (AP) -- A man hospitalized in Rapid City has been indicted in the stabbing death of a pregnant woman.
The charges against Michael Young include first-degree murder and fetal homicide. He has not yet been arrested but is under 24-hour surveillance in the hospital.
The 30-year-old Young allegedly killed 30-year-old Morgan Myers April 26 in a Walmart parking lot in Rapid City, then stabbed himself. Authorities say Myers had gotten a protection order against Young after a romantic involvement.
Officials say Young might remain in the hospital for several more weeks.
