There will be no school for Mitchell School District on Thursday due to flooding.
A large rainstorm has caused severe flooding conditions throughout Mitchell as Davison County is in a severe flood watch.
Superintendent Joe Graves said the district's buildings are fine but many employees will not be able to get to work and students to class.
