MARTY - One person died in a house fire Monday in Marty, according to the Charles Mix County Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
No further information was released. The BIA told The Daily Republic late Monday afternoon it would have to contact the Department of the Interior. The Daily Republic left a message with the department seeking information about the fire but did not receive an immediate response.
