Rapid City schools expand pledge to all levels

RAPID CITY (AP) -- Students in all grades of South Dakota's two largest districts are now asked to stand up and recite the Pledge of Allegiance every morning.

RAPID CITY (AP) - Students in all grades of South Dakota’s two largest districts are now asked to stand up and recite the Pledge of Allegiance every morning.

Rapid City’s district policy followed a decision by Sioux Falls to expand it to high schools. Students at both districts have the option of whether to put their hand on the heart and recite the pledge.
