The Mitchell Convention & Visitors Bureau is inviting the public to attend a presentation by Destination Rapid City at 6:30 p.m. Monday in City Council Chambers.
Dan Senftner and Beth Hottel will share their story of Rapid City's Main Street Square from concept to implementation to operation. Rapid City's Main Street Square is continuously evolving.
The center of the square is a green space with an interactive fountain during the warm months. During the cold months, the center is turned into an ice skating rink.
Senftner is president and CEO of Destination Rapid City and Hottel is assistant director for Destination Rapid City and marketing and membership director for Rapid City Downtown Association.
