STICKNEY-David Anderson and Roger Walk, of Shepherd's Canyon Retreat, Arizona, will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. on July 28 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Stickney.
The concert will include gospel music, old-time Sunday School songs, contemporary Christian music and stories of God's grace and mercy.
Dave will tell "The Rescue Story" and how he, his wife, Barb, and the team survived when their plain lost two engines and fell 3,500 feet in 3 1/2 minutes before plowing into the Bering Sea at 90 mph.
A free-will offering will be received to benefit Shepherd's Canyon Retreat, an interdenominational Christian retreat for pastors and church workers. Refreshments will be served after the concert.
