The Prairie History Guild will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, in Thomsen Auditorium at Dakota Discovery Museum, Mitchell.

The program is the second half of the film, "Northern Lights," which is based on the diary of Ray Sorenson and chronicles the struggles of small farmers against the powers that controlled commerce and government in our country in the 1900s.

Also showing will be the first half of "Plowing Up a Storm," which examines the history of Midwestern farm movements such as the Grange, Populists, Nonpartisan League and the Farmers Holiday Movement.
