SIOUX FALLS (AP) -- A Powerball ticket sold in Sioux Falls is worth $10,000 in Wednesday's drawing.
South Dakota lottery officials say the odds of winning the game's third prize are one in about 649,000. The winner has about six months to claim the money.
Powerball is played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The jackpot sits at $100 million for the next drawing, on Saturday.
