Mitchell police officers served a search warrant at a home in the city Tuesday afternoon as part of a theft investigation.
Police searched the home at 809 Kynette Place at around 4 p.m., said Detective Sgt. Don Everson. He said no one was taken into custody after the warrant was served, and the search was not tied to a series of home and business thefts reported in the city recently.
More details may be released Wednesday, Everson said.
